I have all the files needed installed I think.

In my case "all the files needed" was a single .deb downloaded from google. Double clicking it and giving my password was all I needed to install.

    What is not working?

Agreed, they provide links for 32 and 64 bit debs and rpms right on the site. I just downloaded the 64 bit deb and installed it and everything works great. If you've done something other than this, you probably have an older version or something not legitimate.
