Laptop screen dims too much
I love ubuntu, it's really breathed new life into my laptop. However, when I disconnect the power supply the laptop screen dims (on battery) and stays dimmed when I plug in the power cable again. I'm always having to go to "system settings > Brightness and lock" and adjust the screen brightness.
I've taken the check off the "dim to save power" check box, but it still automatically dims.
I just want the screen to stay the same brightness on battery and plugged in. Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the Ubuntu Forums!
You may need to check the BIOS/EFI settings of the motherboard. There maybe some power settings in there that will help you.
