SyncEvolution "Failed to get list of supported services from SyncEvolution"

I'm very new at this, and I need to have my evolution sync to my Google Tasks. I tried uninstalling everything that Memotoo asked me to install for this sync, but this problem keeps coming up and I am not able to edit my sync services because I keep getting this message:

"Failed to get list of supported services from SyncEvolution"

I'm not familiar with terminal, I have followed several threads that instructed me to go there, but I don't know how to go about fixing this in terminal. I use google tasks for work.

Is there a way I can start fresh again? Is this a bug?
