    Android phone as usb modem

    My previous Nokia phone when connected to a ubuntu laptop through usb, used to ask and i had to select "PC/Ovi Suite" to use its internet on my laptop but now with android i do not know how to use my mobile's internet on my laptop, through USB.
    Can any one advise.

    On my Android phone (HTC Desire) it's all just plug and play.

    I plug it in and a 'connected to network' notification appears, it's ready to use without having to do anything.

    My fault.
    USB tethering was not checked ON in my phone.
    So when ever i connected using cable it only gave option for using for storage.
