Dual boot Ubuntu 12.10 and Arch Linux 2013 (Ubuntu installed first)

I have Ubuntu and I love it, but I want to dual boot Arch Linux with it because it is one of the most customizable OS in the world and wanted to try more Linux versions. I am giving 50GB (51200MB) to Arch Linux. I want to know how to install it correctly so I don't mess up my computer. I am installing i686 (32bit).

please tell me if you need more details

    thank you in advance

Well the first thing first is are you gonna be using a DVD disk or a USB?

Hi everyone, I have the same problem. I want to start from the beginning and install Ubuntu 13.04 dual boot with Archlinux. I'm reading that I should be specially cautious with the partitions I will make. Could you please give me some advice so I don't ruin my laptop? Thanks anyways!
