What graphics card to use in a multimonitor setup?

    Hi!

I'm going to assemble a new PC. The problem I'm facing is what graphics card to choose so that:

    - it will work without problems like freezes, hours spent on configuration etc
    - it will support triple monitor setup
    - it will be justa a good performance modern graphic card

OS of course latest Ubuntu 64 bit.

    Any suggestions?

So.. to make the question more specific. Is Sapphire Radeon HD7750 a good choice to be run under Ubuntu?

Unless you do high-end gaming, I would recommend the Ivy-Bridge integrated graphics. The open-source drivers are trouble-free. If you wait a few months, you'll be able to buy the Haswell CPU which will have even better graphics.

I'd stay away from the proprietary stuff unless you need the gaming performance.
