Was launch bar sensitivity ever fixed?

Have 12.04 on a desktop. The auto hide of the launch bar is flakey.

I know about adjusting the sensitivity. It is very unreliable.

I saw that the windows super key might work, but that's hardly the idea behing auto hide.

I don't see that others have this problem on the board, but gguys I know just gave up on this feature

    Any fix?

First, you say that the autohide is flakey (in what way?), then you talk about adjusting the sensitivity (of what?). What exactly is your idea of autohide?

Re: Was launch bar sensitivity ever fixed?

When the launch bar is hidden, I have trouble getting it to slide out when I move the mouse pointer to the left side. Adjusting the settings under Settings--Appearance--Behavior for greater sensitivity makes things worse - like being unable to get a launch bar at all until I reboot..

I just thought this was a common problem. Maybe I should just forget it, but I can't find where the "Solved" button in ....
