I'm jelly. I wish you could upgrade the CPU in laptops.

    Re: What's your glmark2 score?

    Hi Ranko,

I see you haven't got an AMD HD 5870 in your table. I've just run the test and got a glmark2 Score of 3799.
It ran on window mode which I'm assuming is 800x600.
    It is a desktop.

    System Variables:
    OS: Ubuntu 12.04 64bit
    GPU: AMD HD 5870, 1GB
    RAM: 16GB
Driver: Propriety FGLRX non-beta post-release updates from repository.
    DE: Desktop
    Resolution: 800x600 (default window mode)

    Terminal results pasted underneath.

** Failed to set swap interval. Results may be bounded above by refresh rate.

    Re: What's your glmark2 score?

Ok, I just purchased a new tower which came with an HD5750. This test is run using the current stable release of the AMD driver from their website, catalyst 13.4 i believe it is. DISREGARD THIS it's not OC'd [It's OC'd from stock Core Clock speed from 550Mhz to 700Mhz and Memory clock speed from 800Mhz to 1150Mhz] and my new score when it runs in 800x600 (i can't figure out how to get it to run fullscreen) is

Otherwise, table is updated, with an updated score from my Thinkpad: 1175 vs. 854 it scored last time I checked, quite the improvement! I can only chalk that up to driver improvements, thanks to the community.

If you're running 12.04, there is no fullscreen mode; the 12.10 and later versions have added a --fullscreen switch.
