    glmark would not run full screen. At least in in my current 3 display configuration at work.
    I ran glmark2 in the background on desktop 3 while working in an XP virtual machine on desktop 4.
    Will try again sometime when I'm not busy see if the score changes.

    Just built me a new machine. Using stock ubuntu 13.10 with i5-4670k (igpu HD4600) the default driver which is i915. I did OC my chip from 3.4Ghz to 4.0Ghz (using a CM 120V for cooling). G-Skill sniper 8GB 2133Mhz ram. I don't use any compositing and I run XFCE 4.10. Here's the results of 800x600 and 1440x900. Desktop (XFCE was running with chrome, steam, and terminal open as well)

    Just got an EVGA GTX 760. The ACX Active Cooling Superclocking 2GB Version with Double BIOS. Nvidia Proprietary driver 331.38, nvidia-settings all stock. Using xubuntu 13.10 with kernel 3.11.0-17-generic, i5-4670k (igpu HD4600). I did OC my chip from 3.4Ghz to 4.0Ghz (using a CM 120V for cooling). G-Skill sniper 8GB 2133Mhz ram. I don't use any compositing and I run XFCE 4.10. Desktop Manager was running with 1 xfce-terminal open
