Hi I recently upgraded to 13.4 and freecad update repository was disabled. I went to synaptic/ repositories and ticked the repository for freecad.
Now when I start updates I get a error message which says " E:Type '' is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list" and when I start Synaptic I get this message, E: Type ‘’ is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialogue to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
Then Synaptic closes so can't go to repository dialogue
I deleted the last line of the source list which refered to Freecad as the original error was line 51
