Synaptic and update error Raring 13.4

Hi I recently upgraded to 13.4 and freecad update repository was disabled. I went to synaptic/ repositories and ticked the repository for freecad.
Now when I start updates I get a error message which says " E:Type '' is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list" and when I start Synaptic I get this message, E: Type ‘’ is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialogue to correct the problem.
    E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Then Synaptic closes so can't go to repository dialogue

I deleted the last line of the source list which refered to Freecad as the original error was line 51

I have gone over your list and not seeing anything wrong. So Im thinking maybe swap it out with your saved sources list and see if that would fix the problem. Lets take a look at it first, how bout posting it.

    Code:
    cat -n /etc/apt/sources.list.save

Try changing the 'GB Server' to "Main Server'... also try:

    Code:
    sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/* -vf
    sudo apt-get clean
    sudo apt-get update
If not then post the output of "cat -n /etc/apt/sources.list.save as requested in the above post. And also:

    Code:
    ls -la /etc/apt/sources.list.d
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/<file name that is given as output from above command>

Thank you swapping the saved source list worked. The only thing that I may have done was when I deleted the freecad entry I used libre writer the first option on the dialog box.
Here is a copy of the saved source list but I can see no difference.
