Do you mean here in the Ubuntu Forums? Or in some installed software?
The forum software does not do spell-checking - it never has done. If spell-checking is not working in the editor box for you, you need to look at your browser settings. If you're using Firefox, this may help:

If you need help with your forum account, such as SSO login issues, username changes, etc, the correct place to contact an admin is here. Please do not PM me about these matters unless you have been asked to - unsolicited PMs concerning forum accounts will be ignored.
I'll play with this tonight after work as I do use Mozilla FF.
Thanks.

Thanks coffeecat.
I checked the languages setting in the right context drop down list and it was not set at English (United States), which is what I want. I don't know how that got changed, but setting it by clicking on it brought spell check back.
Yay! We win again!
