xubuntu over ubuntu compiz crash

i installed everything but as soon as i select compiz from the fusion icon. everything crashes, and there is not point of adding it to startup session.

Oh man have rest i have switched to gnome classic.
i am fine with it.
i can run compiz with no problems and would still to it even with 13.04.
i am still searching for a good lightweight desktop like gnome with works well with compiz.

And please get well soon "wild man", have rest and keep smiling.

I use classic also with compiz, I have to have all the effects.

well thank you, but i have ended up with xubuntu splash screen at system boot, and three options at login "Gnome classic" "gnome no effects" and xubuntu (default)"
well i wanted a light weight desktop and now i feel messed up. can i get the ubuntu screen back
