Hi
I have a 10.04LTS and need to upgrade. I also have to smal /-partition (just 15GB) and just now I have booted with 12.04LTS SD-card to run gparted to expand the root-partition, which take some time....
Anyway, then I run the live-desktop I get an overlapping desktop (The launchpad are booth on the left and right side, but I can only reach the launchpda on the left side, but the mouse-pointer are visible in the 'ghost-panel' to the right.
If I go to 'System-settings' Ubuntu recognise the screen 1920x1200, but in reality gfx only show maybe, 1600x1200, and the rest (1920-1600=320) are shown double on the right.
In have a Nvidia gfx-card:
The display are connected with DVI-cableCode:02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF119 [GeForce GT 520] (rev a1)
Anyone how know how I can fix it and get rid of the the shadow/ghost appearance? I do not have propretarian drivers on the live-seassion.
/Cheers
Have added a photo off the screen, a screenshot get normal.
