    WINDOWS: Editing Hosts File

    Hey Guys,

I know this isn't the right forum, but you have been great helping me with ubuntu questions in the past, so i thought i'd ask for a windows question.

Apologies if this is not in the right section.

I have recently installed a program, and the instructions i got with the program said i need to patch the hosts file, giving me a list of things that i need to place in the hosts file.

Does anyone know how i need to do this ?

Some info on the location of the hosts file in Windows is in the link, down the page a bit, for releases up to Vista; I'd guess 7 & 8 would be at least similar to Vista.
Altering the hosts file is as simple as opening in a text editor and adding the details from your instructions.Cheers
