We love you Ringo. Oh, yes we do. We love no other as much as you.
It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things.

Ringo sort of rolls off the tounge. I can use that term now with clients. Just tell then we are at Ringo. Talking Ubuntuesque like Quantal Queztal, Precise Pangolin or Oneric Ocelot does just not roll over well with noobs. (new prospects) So now I can say .. 'Hey .. why don't you try Ringo!? '

    jk..

    Nice artwork btw.

I've waited 4 months for it.

Why not use version numbers then? The various names, are only supposed to be used for versions in development. Once a version is released, it is referred to by it's number.

I love that. Both the "self-defined" Pangolin and Quetzal wallpapers were good but this is the best ever!

When I use numbers "Well there is Ubuntu 10.4 or 11.10 etc.. " peoples jaws drop. Then I have to explain what Ubuntu is . but yes.. I see your logic here.

It's just really easy to look at. It has a very cool motif. It's sharp , has definition but doesn't yell , holler out at you or hurt the eyes. It's very considerate of persons who may have photophobia or RSI eye strain from being at terminal all day.

If you ask me, Ringo himself looks like he (she?) has done a bit too much staring at a terminal screen.

    Definitely some persistence there ..

Back in the early 1960's they used to make golf balls with one continous rubber band wraped around a rubber ball filled with liquid of some sort. As kids we used to take the old balls apart and watch the rubber band come undone , as if it was alive! A kernel acts in the same sort of way .. it's all wrapped up in a bundle of depends.. and .. if one goes they all go Looks like Ringo is on top of things though.
