Hi, i am using ubuntu 12.04 and lubuntu 12.10, both 64bit.
My specs are:
Intel Q6600 quad core
ATI HD 4850
4GBRAM
Currently i have the open source drivers(radeon), since the fglrx drivers don't support my card anymore and the legacy drivers that do, require me to downgrade my kernel.
I have tried xonotic, world of padman, red eclipse, quake live etc and i always get 60 fps, while in windows i can get max fps.
It is important to get max fps on some games, because the packets are sent per fps calculated and not shown.
Do the open source drivers have vsync by default ? cause i disabled it on all games i tried, because of the input lag, vsync creates.
If any of you have any tips, i would be thankful.
