BOOT-REPAIR (error)?

hey guys,
I have been trying to install Linux mint using boot-repair since like two months but always failed to accomplish the task. As soon as I install the grub appears but under "Legacy mode" and also it has windows 8 operating system link but I am not able to boot into it. Also when I turn back to "UEFI mode" it directly loads to windows 8 without grub option to whether go to windows 8 or Linux mint. Can anyone please help me with that I am in real need of it.

I do not know Linux Mint.
But Ubuntu is one of the few that has the Microsoft key in the grub2 shim file to allow it to dual boot Windows 8 UEFI systems with secure boot.

Under Windows 8 Secure Boot, all PCs, no matter what operating system they actually run, must include several Microsoft-owned keys.

Yeah but I have turned off the secure boot for windows 8 and Linux mint to load under UEFI but unable to do so. Also I followed this instructions but still unable to do so.

ok sir. I will install once again as due to this problem I recovered my computer and once I do so I will do so.
