    wireless for ubuntu

    Hi, I have a 64X2 dual 1.90 ghz 2 gb ram 80 gb HD, loaded ubuntu 10 then 12.04. It has no wireless card so I'm looking for recommendatiions. What wireless card will work with this ubuntu and ancient Dimension E521 ?

    Check here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wi...CardsSupported for Ubuntu compatible wireless cards. I'm sure you can find one there that will work with your laptop. If you can't find an internal or PCMCIA card, you can always use a USB wireless adapter, although that would be less than optimal.
