Unhappy No can find boot medium

I created a VM for Linux Mint yesterday and ran it more or less for a half hour while I checked out that distro. I installed it from an ISO which is on my HDD. Today, when I try to run it, this message pops up:
FATAL: Could not read from the boot medium! System halted.
The other VM's I have work OK, why is this one on the fritz?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Are you using VirtualBox?. Open storage menu and check if virtual disk is shown there.

No problem here with VirtualBox and Linux Lint. It runs great.

    Best regards,
