communication exception error in Ubuntu Chrome and Firefox

I am getting this error when using a web page I need to use for school.

Communication Exception error when using Chrome or Firefox. It is working on non Linux computer web pages.

Please help.

same Chrome and Firefox on non linux computer ( mac and pc)

Are you saying you get the same exact error whether or not you use Linux, Mac, or PC? If so then it might be a problem with the actual website and not the operating systems.

No the opposite, its only happening on one page of the web program ONLY on Ubuntu using Chrome or Firefox.

no that is all it says " communication error" and if you try to click on anywhere on the web page it keeps repearting the message.

Could also be network related. Do other operating systems / computers on your local network (at home or at work) have the same issue getting this site?

it just the Ubuntu computer, the mac and pc dont have the issue. the web page is a schools page so I cant show you sorry.
