    JoliCloud OS - Problem - Please, help me!

    I got a big problem with Joli Cloud OS.

    I downloaded JoliCloud OS and created a Live USB. Booted from it. Then, at the boot splash, it says Configuring Nvidia Drivers... The screen flickers for a little while. Then, the text goes out, just splash screen. Now, it does nothing. I wait 10 minutes, but still nothing. Pressing Esc hides the splash screen, but it says now this:

    X: Fatal error:
    No screens found. ---> WTF???

    Can anyone help with this?
    Thanks.
    I really need Joli Cloud OS now...

    Why do you need JoliOS?
    As far as I am aware, it is based on an out-dated (pre 2012) Ubuntu, so probably has no drivers for newer hardware.
    You might be better off installing a recent (usable) OS with Chrome + JoliDrive.

    I need Joli OS because looks nice, everything is faster than in the normal Ubuntu etc...

    Is there any unstable or beta version out there of Joli OS?

    JoliCloudOS, Apparently to install the next version of Jolicloud, you will have to install Ubuntu 12.04 and then follow this video to turn 12.04 into Jolicloud OS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5uc9...ature=youtu.be

    But personally, give up Joli. It's almost as slow as Wayland and E17's develoment cycle pre 2013.

    There are plenty of "looks nice and fast" Ubuntu-based OS available.
    Consider:
    Elementary OS http://elementaryos.org/journal/luna-beta-1-released (my personal favourite - but still in beta)
    Bodhi http://www.bodhilinux.com/
    Others also exist... I'm sure a quick search on these forums will find lots for you.
