I just installed Ubuntu 12.10 on my PC. When I used Live Boot, everything was working fine but after the installation 2 hard drives were missing(I have a total of 3.) I decided to snoop around a bit.
When I used the 'sudo fdisk -lu', this is the result I got:
Disk /dev/sda: 160.0 GB, 160041885696 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 19457 cylinders, total 312581808 sectors
Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x000dcd27
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 2048 308408319 154203136 83 Linux
/dev/sda2 308410366 312580095 2084865 5 Extended
/dev/sda5 308410368 312580095 2084864 82 Linux swap / Solaris
So I am guessing that my drive isn't mounted or something...
Please help me, I have a lot of important files on those 2 hard drives.
