Acer Aspire One Slow download speeds with terminal

Hello everyone,

Im new to linux and the forum Im haveing a problem and hope someone can help.

I Installed Ubuntu 12.04 on my Acer Aspire One D270-1466 netbook, I also ran the updater and updated the system.

One of the many problems Im having is Downloads.

If I download from a website speeds are normal, if I try to download a program with terminal it starts at full speed then slows down to 5 kb/s after 1 -2 seconds also youtube videos slowdown to 5kb/s I dont know if thier related.

The above problem happens if im connected to the internet with wifi or plugged in with an ethernet cable.

What command are you using to download in the terminal? (wget, aria2, curl, .etc .etc)

I have tried apt-get and wget
