Wine: Mass Effect installer issue

Dear people,

I've been attempting to install all three Mass Effect's with Wine_1.5.26 and PlayOnLinux_4.2 onto Ubuntu_12.04_64-bits several times, but for some reason the installer keeps freezing at the precise same spot seconds after the initial installation have started.

However all other games that I've recently installed like Battlefield 2, Project Reality and F.E.A.R. 2 didn't freeze at all during install, and they all work like a charm.

Installation path: /home/raklodder/.wine/dosdevices/c:/Program Files (x86)/Mass Effect 2

Hardware: P8P67 DELUXE B3, i7-2600K, 8GB, NH-D14, HD6970, RAiD 0+1, BD-RE, HX850, DEFiNE R3, UBUNTU 12.04

I'm having the same problem. It would be great to get some help with it.

Wine and play on linux dont play well together, one or both bricked an install on me, so be very careful. Once a program bricks an install on me I stay away from it.
