    Question GNU GRUB on startup

I started up my computer and ran Ubuntu and got the following message:

    GNU GRUB version 2.00-7ubuntu11
Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else, TAB lists possible device or file completions.

    grub>_
I tried searching the forums for a solution, but I can't seem to find one.

From your live installer download and run this. It may fix your issue or at least we can see details to suggest fixes.

Post the link to the BootInfo report that this creates. Is part of Boot-Repair:
    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Info
Boot Repair -Also handles LVM, GPT, separate /boot and UEFI dual boot.:

You can repair many boot issues with this or 'Create BootInfo' report (Other Options) & post the link it creates, so we can see your exact configuration and diagnose advanced problems.
Install in Ubuntu liveCD or USB or Full RepairCD with Boot-Repair (for newer computers)
