nm-applet (32) Not authorized to control networking.

I've done much googling...but this seems to be an old problem with outdated solutions, and many solutions posted were for different distros...so I thought I'd post a new thread here. Just like the title suggests, any time I try to change anything via nm-applet, I'm met with the error: (32) Not authorized to control networking. Fortunately I still auto connect to my home network, but this is something I'd like fixed. Any suggestions? Any console output you need just say the word. Thank you!
