Red face Ubuntu server for Home network

I have one desktop with moderate config.I want to install a server on this for my home just to learn things so I decided to go with Zentyal. I will be using my laptop as client. Now the problem is, my desktop has only one LAN port and for Zentyal needs two LAN ports for traffic shaping and some other features. What should I do? I do have a Netgear JNR1010 router. Kindly suggest some solution.
