    Problem with Linksys AE1000

    So here's my situation:

I use a Cisco Linksys AE1000 network adapter to recieve my wireless internet connection to my desktop.

Ever since installing ubuntu (about 2 months ago) to connect to the internet I have to re-plug in the USB Linksys AE1000. At random times the internet will flat out die. I will then un-plug it, and replug in the USB and it will work.

It seems to occur much more when I am downloading torrents and what not. Just now it had preceeded to do it about every 45 seconds until I stopped the torrents and now is working again.

What can I do to solve this weird problem?
    Thank you

    Re: Problem with Linksys AE1000

This may not be an Ubuntu problem, but perhaps a hardware issue with the AE1000.

To a far less degree this occurs to me in Windows, but I don't do a large amount of torrenting. It appears to have something to do with the amount that it is stressed with traffic.
