How to install torrent client in Ubuntu 12.04 ?

How to install µTorrent / Bittorrent (not server but client) in Ubuntu 12.04 ? I tried Devulge but didn't like it.

Or, you can just try qBittorrent. I use that one and I would recommend it to anyone.

Transmission also does a pretty good job. It is a bit dicky sometimes however.

uTorrent doesn't make a client for Linux.

There's a lot of others though. I recommend rTorrent. It's entirely command line based. Entire interface is in text. It's really cool.

Another vote for transmission. If you are comfortable with uTorrent, I am surprised you didn't like Deluge, the UI is practically the same, at least in my experience.

the instrucitons should be inside the package. you might need to compile it yourself.


also what is wrong with deluge? if you need something less memorry consuming just use transmission. there are so many good torrent clients in linux...

Thanks for the replies (was away from internet last days so couldn't revert back). Well i have had no idea about Transmission. How to install it ?
