sudo apt-get remove --purge bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo apt-get install linux-firmware-nonfree
sudo modprobe b43

just kidding...after restarting twice it works just fine. amazing how something so agrivating for me was such a sinch for someone else.. thank you so so much my friend!

The outputs show at least you are not at square one, some different square perhaps.
