    How do I install a specific version of openjdk 6?

    I am wondering how to install a specific version of openjdk?

    I think it is possible when you download the .deb files from launchpad.net, but i think apt-get update will upgrade it.

    Well the problem is that I need to downgrade to 1.6.0 when I have 1.6_27.

    Just keep in mind that OpenJDK6 after November 2012 ceased to get security updates.
