Creative Audio Routing When Recording With Audacity and LMMS

I need some help figuring out how to route some audio around in specific ways when doing a recording.

The software I'm using is Audacity and LMMS.

I have a track in Audacity. I want to play that track while playing something else in LMMS. I want what's being played in LMMS to be recorded into Audacity.

The problem is, if I go to Edit > Preferences > Recording > Overdub in Audacity, and then I set the recording source to Stereo Mixer so I can record what's being played in LMMS, not only does LMMS get recorded into the new track, but the old Audacity track gets recorded into the new track too. I want to be able to listen to the old track without it being recorded, while having LMMS recorded on its own new, separate track.

    Any ideas?
