    Unhappy Lubuntu Repaints and Moves Windows at Random Times

    At fairly random times, but often just after I click on a gedit window or a gnome-terminal window, Lubuntu 12.04 (precise) 32-bit repaints all my windows. Some of them get moved down by about the height of the panel, regardless of whether I have the panel on the bottom of my screens or the top (I have one screen above the other). This is getting annoying.
