Core Apps it looks like are proceeding nicely: http://www.iloveubuntu.net/ubuntu-to...oftware-center Unity + Mir it looks like a lot of effort it's being put in it ATM: http://bregmatter.wordpress.com/2013...p-convergence/ I do see the possibility to be able to sum it all up by the end of the year and do some serious testing. P.S. It will be interesting autumn/winter testing period this time by the looks of it and i guess no summer vacation for the devs this year!
The game is on: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?pag...tem&px=MTM5Mzc
Thanks for the link. I tried again with the core apps the other day. They install but do not load. I guess they need the SDK also installed. I found that to be the case last time I experimented with them. I think that the SDK brings in QML libraries that are not yet part of the standard saucy system. I will also try that MIR PPA. It seems like progress. Regards.
It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things. Ubuntu user #33,200. Linux user #530,530
