I have a Canon MP280 connected to a Windows XP machine that I was able to connect to without issue in 12.04. Now in 13.04, when I go to install a printer, nothing happens. There is no choice to add a shared printer at all. What to I need to do to at least see the printer so I can set up the driver?
I didn't think 13.04 was "released" yet: I thought it was still a trial release: folks usually recommend only installing such trial releases........to try them ...........and report bugs if they believe there are bugs .......... have you had a chance to work your way through the ubuntu guide? https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Ne...tingWithUbuntu
which desktop environment? (Unity, gnome 3, kde, etc.) no issues with that in xfce

I know 13.04 is not officially released, but I am testing it and want to see if there is still a bug in LibreOffice that I reported using 12.04. I am running a 32 bit standard desktop install with Unity.
