Hi guys there I go again is hard to change but worth it... But I got some questions for you, if you don't mind...
If I mount the hdd in the folder /home/"Username" (Everything disappears) I mean...
Well I've notice that all what it was in that folder disappears and then when you restart the computers it shows up again why? where does it goes? is it safe?
I'm already about to finish touching the file /etc/fstab and I got few questions...
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a
# device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices
# that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
/host/ubuntu/disks/root.disk / ext4 loop,errors=remount-ro 0 $
/host/ubuntu/disks/swap.disk none swap loop,sw 0 0
SO... When I mount the HDD with DISK it get mounted in /media/"Username"
I thought!!! that when I was mounting the ned HDD the file FSTAB would change, and it doesn't.
Then I got lost...
But If I do.: Sudo fdisk -l I can see my hardrive before and after... and it makes sence...
I don't know if you know what I mean. I just want to understand a little bit more.
The last one, xD... If I want to mount automaticly the HDD called /sda3 from the beggining I'd have to do....
I didn't undesratnd the "UUID" But I understood that is the name of my HDD in linux /dev/"sda3"
When I mount I do
sudo mount /dev/sda3 /media (and it work)
To edit the fstab it would be...
/dev/sd3 /media "Type which one NTFS? automatic?" <options> <dump> <pass>
NO IDEA NO IDEA NO IDEA
THis is when I HAVE MOUNTED THE DISK, and it appears here, but not in FSTAB.file
Sorry for the mess.../dev/sda1 * 2048 206847 102400 7 HPFS/NTFS/exFAT
