    Hi

    I am buying from MSY.

I want to know which of the speakers below $24 is Linux compatible.

This is the speakers they have:

    Logitech LS11 2.0 / LS21 2.1

    Creative A35 2.0 /A40 2.0 /A220 2.1

Please tell me which of these speakers is Linux compatible.

Anyspeaker will work. It's not an OS specific PC component.

Speakers are simplest type of output devices, they work the same way for all Operating Systems.

Any of them would do, the same way as they would for any OS in the world, as long as the OS is able to produce audio signals for the output jack where the speakers would connect

Thank you for your replies. I have decided to buy a Logitech Z323 2.1 speaker which is $55 because I want to do gaming.

I think 5.1 speakers give you the best gaming experience on games that support surround sound (and I guess most of the modern games do support that). But that's just my assumption and some reading, not a practical experience so far.

For stereo sound in games, I can say with personal experience that a pair of good quality headphones give you a lot better experience than an expensive 2.1 speaker set.
