    no sound but sound card is fine

    hey there, i am new to linux just install ubuntu 12.04 sound was working fine but after update it stop working tried everything in the forums. used 'PulseAudio' i know the sound card is working it shows but i cant hear anything. can anyone please help?

    problem solved installed 12.10 and tried this website http://www.noobslab.com/2012/10/inst...in-ubuntu.html
    sound works fine
