I recently installed Ubuntu for the first time 12.10 (kernel 3.5.0-17-generic, 64 bit). While trying to get Ubuntu ti see my wired network adapter, an experienced user suggested that "upgrading" to 3.5.0-25-generic would solve my issue. However, installing the new kernel caused my Logitech MK320 wireless keyboard and mouse to stop working. If I boot into the old kernel (3.5.0-17-generic) they work just fine; they also work perfectly in Win7 (which is how I'm posting this thread).

Can anyone tell me how to get my kb & m working in 3.5.0-25-generic? Since I am new to linux, I don't even know how to begin troubleshooting or solving this.

Thanks in advance.
John
