    go to personal file sharing from the dash and allow bluetooth sharing by marking related check boxes and you are good to go!

    Good idea, just a bit of clarification -

    That option is meant for making only the contents of "Public" folder viewable from an external device, like mobile phone. In other words, it facilitates 'Pulling' of files from the Public folder. While the OP is trying to 'Push' the files into the mobile, which doesn't need that option enabled (for example I have it disabled and still I can copy 'Any' file to my cheap mobile phone over bluetooth).

    Without that sharing enabled, the contents of the Public folder can't be viewed from the mobile, but after enabling it they can be.

    Although if there is a connectivity issue, it won't help. But if it is just a permission issue on mobile side, then it should. (desired files would have to be copied in the Public folder first, then they can be viewed and copied from within the mobile phone.)
