    Pidgin

I have installed the Pidgin Plugin Pack (http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/pidgin-plugin-pack) , but it does not (as far as I can see) tell you how to use the new functionality, any help?

    Many thanks,

    Owe.

How have you installed it, you should have used the terminal or synaptic (or similar) to install straight from the repo's and then after pidgin being killed and restarted there should be loads more plugins listed if you go to tools>plugins

    Re: Pidgin

I have them enabled, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to use in chat, for example, that magic 8 ball, is there a general way of using them?

    Re: Pidgin

Just hover the mouse over a plugin in the list to get a tooltip about it, if you hover over the magic 8 ball plugin you'll see it says to type in command /8ball into the text box. Some plugins have their own options, if they do then the "Configure Plugin" button will light up when you single click the plugin name
