I am using the Broadcom 4313 and I too am having connection issue with 3.9. I can get it to connect sometimes by installing prop driver and then uninstalling it. Nothing consistant about it.

3.9 RC1 Installed just fine on my Brand New Dell Inspiron 15 3521 PC. UEFI Modification worked fine too.

No issues on my system, Toshiba L305-S5919 Intel chipset. No Apparmor alerts. I think I will stick with this kernel for awhile, possibly even until kernel lock-down. My wife's Toshiba NB is also doing pretty good with this one. I can't use Virtualbox but I'm done with taxes so I don't need it at least until I need to update my TomTom.

Virtualbox needs just a few line changes in the host driver source to work OK with 3.9

Nope, 3.9 is not released, there is only an early prerelease.
RR (13.04) will stay at 3.8 branch. We have now the 3.8.2 release in repos.

No more problem on Broadcom 4313 open source driver with 3.9rc2. I can connect to wifi now
