    No default swap partition on 12.10??

    Resurrected my Linux-interest, burned a 12.10 DVD and can see no swap partition being made while installing? Is this The New Way with Ubuntu, please?

    While partitioning you have to select "Swap Area" from Use as drop down menu.

    Thanks, Akhj. I temporarily forgot the difference between a 'mount point' and a 'file system' and looked only in the former. Just a bit of late-night dickishness.
