    Adding a ppa creates 2 instances in synaptic

    Why do I get 2 instances in synaptic when I add a ppa?
    One called raring and one called now.

    one shows all the packages in the ppa, the other shows only installed packages from that ppa, pretty handy

    Oh ok.
    Yeah I could see how that would be handy for large ppas.
    Could have used a better indicator than "now", though.
    The word installed comes to mind.
