Hi,

I hope this is the right place to ask...
So I have pgraded my ancient pentium4 to a i7 and had to buy a new motherboard as well, I chose a ASRock Z77M which has a PS2 keyboard port and several USB-ports. I have a USB-keyboard which works via IR or something and worked on my old mb very well. However now, if I want to enter the UEFI (new BIOS) I cannot use my USB-keyboard to do this but have to attach a PS2 keyboard and disconnect my USB-keyboard which is really annoying because I always have to crawl under my desk...

Will an adpter from USB to PS2 fix this issue or do I have to contact ASRock for some kind of BIOS update to fix this issue (already tried updating it with the built-in update utility, worked fine but still no USB-keyboard) or have I forgotten to configure something in the BIOS to enable USB-keyboard detection?

Hope someone can help me here
Thanks for all your effort!
