Trying to download 13.04 seems to be going a little slow Tonight.

Looks like it may be a problem with my ISP as I am having trouble with my WIFI right now.

Looks like it was either Windows 8, my WIFI Connection, or my WIFI Connection on Windows 8 that was the problem. Just downloaded 13.04 from a Ubuntu 12.04.2 Installation and the speed of cdimage.ubuntu.com was back to normal.

I've never been able to get very fast downloads from there, always tops out at 400-500 kbps when my connection can easily do 1-2 mbps

I tried a download of 13.04 daily at 00:00 UTC. a couple nights ago, it was running at <100kb./sec. Tried again at around 08:30 UTC and it was running 2+ Mb./sec. I'm not sure if it's load on the servers, loaded circuits or something else.

I was finally able to get it to download at full 4G LTE Speeds (I use my Sprint Apple IPhone 5's Personal Hotspot as my Primary ISP), at about 01:00 Chicago Time (Chicago is -06:00 GMT during the Winter and -05:00 during the Spring, Summer, and Fall).

P.S. The Speed was back down again to about 600 MB - 800 MB a Second early this morning Chicago Time say about just after 07:00 - 08:00 Central Standard Time (-06:00 GMT) but it does seem to be back to normal now as far as I can tell. I have noticed that the releases.ubuntu.com server does NOT slow down as much as the cdimage.ubuntu.com Server does.

If you are seeing download speed issues, I'd suggest using zsync to update an iso you already have, instead downloading a new one.
