Hey guys,
Okay so i created a Ubuntu 12.04 live usb using the guide on this website for my HP Pavilion Dm4 laptop. I get an installer boot menu. I hit run Ubuntu from this USB and then i get a black screen nothing seems to be loading. After about 5 minutes i hear the login screen sound and a quick flash but goes back to the black screen. I have installed Ubuntu 10.04 but it was stuck on 1074x768 resolution so i installed some 3rd party drivers to force the 1366x768 resolution which was meant for the monitor. I'm thinking it has something to do with the graphics card. Can someone help me out here?
