    Re: How to mark threads

Moved to Forum Feedback and Help

The plugin that provided this function is unfortunately not compatible with vBulletin 4. We are looking to replace this as soon as we can, but this may be some time yet. In the meantime, a workaround would be:

Go to the first post in your thread. Click on "Edit Post". Now click on the orange "Go Advanced" button. In the advanced editor change the prefix to "SOLVED". Now click on the orange "Save Changes" button.

Please note that there is a 7-day 60-day limit on being able to edit posts, and this would include changing the prefix.

EDIT: I've extended the edit time to 60 days. We'll review that again once we have a workable plugin in place.

Ubuntu forum - Mark a thread as solved

    Hello,

I want to mark a treat as "solved".
I have done it already, but since the update, I can't find the button.
    Where is it?

    Thank you for your answer!

Forum Feedback and Help is always a good place to look:

Also, moving your post as it is not support regarding Ubuntu.

    Hmm.

I can't find the option to edit the prefix in the advanced mode.

There's no option to change the prefix to solved.

When editing in the advanced editor, you should see something like in the screenshot.

OK, thanks - it looks as though you may have identified an issue we weren't aware of. The OP of this thread, vegas89, was able to mark this thread as solved in the way described but you are not seeing the prefix field in the advanced editor. I have identified a lead to follow and need to do some testing. I'll post again in a couple of hours.

@ cave2596, could you have another look now and report back? You should be able to see the prefix field now and mark your thread as solved. Please let us know.
