Thread on it in this forum.... http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=426

There is a tablet version out, but where you get it is going to depend heavily on the tablet. Your best bet would probably be over at the XDA-developers forum for your device.

    Re: android version

I have a ZTPad and mistakenly thought android was the same on each tablet. Is the tablet market a real mess so that each manufacturer has to modify ubuntu.

    Re: android version

Please do not mind me saying so, but you misread that advert. Recently Canonical made available a few developer previews of images and source code. http://developer.ubuntu.com/2013/02/...and-sdk-alpha/ These are highly experimental and are not complete. The hope is that some manufacturers will release phones and tablets running Ubuntu by October or later. We should not expect to get Ubuntu images for our phones and tablets in the same way we get Ubuntu desktop images today. Please read this http://www.jonobacon.org/2013/02/21/...u-touch-facts/ There is a section of this forum called Mobile Technology Discussions. That is the place to go.

We appreciate that you may have a different phone or tablet, but unfortunately support for other devices is not currently planned. We will however be kicking off an outreach campaign soon to encourage and support our community in porting the code to other devices.
    Regards.
