Logitech K320 wireless keyboard & gnome shell battery indicator

I just purchased the above keyboard. I like it, nice touch and most 'extra' keys work as advertized. A new icon appeared on my gnome-shell panel and also on the power app. The keyboard is recognized but there's nothing to indicate battery voltage. The only logitech keyboard related things I've found in the repositories are for logitech G15 & G19 keyboards. Does anyone know of an add-on to recognize and indicate battery life? Alternatively, how to remove the icon from the panel? Thanks for any thoughts.
